Hello,
I have just finished restoring the stock and repairing and cleaning the
action and barrel on a rifle I obtained from a friend of mine who got it
from his Grandfather. My best guess is that it is a british .303 used
by Canadian soldiers in Korea or possibly Japan. It has readable
markings on the barrel and action. It is definately a Canadian rifle
(info from Friend's Granddad) but since his Grandfather has recently
passed away, I can get no further info on the rifle. I am looking to
sell the rifle as a collector peice or museum piece but I first need to
ID its date of use and area of use.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I feel this is a part of
Canadian history I have restored here.
BTW - The rifle is bolt-action, is missing the bayonet, magazine, and 2
screws (NRA Good condition).
