Can anyone recommend a good 4dos descript.ion editor that works from win95.
I'm having some probs with the one I've used since 1993 (DESC.EXE) since 
installing win95.  DESC.EXE expects directories to be uppercase and files 
lowercase, if they aren't this way then it doesn't see their descriptions.
Also, no matter what it insists on always making DOS windows jump to full 
screen each time it starts up.  I can use alt-enter to change back to window 
then as long as I remain in that windows I can run it again and it doesn't 
jump to full screen. But each time I open a new dos prompt window and run it 
again, it jumps to full screen again!  I've set the properties for this prog 
via explorer, to run windowed, but it just ignores that the first time run!
Some time ago I looked at FDU - File Description Utility Ver. 2.01 (c1990)
and 4EDIT (c1991).  But I didn't stick with either of them though.
