Hi Polly! Long time, no see!
PG>Congrats! We have a handfed gold capped conure who became a family member
PG>seven years ago. He or she has been a joy ever since.
Fantastic! They are really great birds. Of course, the pair we have is a
bit wild since they were in a breeding situation when we acquired them.
PG>They may not be the smartest, or the best talkers, but this bird is SANE!
No
PG>raging hormones, no self-destructive behaviour, no attacks on family
members.
PG>Loves me, loves my husband, and bestows kisses every morning.
The babies sound really sweet. We now have TWO eggs! I look forward to
them even more now!!
PG>You're going to have some very happy customers.
*IF* Monica even sells them :)
PG>The gold capped conure is endangered in its native habitat. Do you know
f
PG>there's a national stud book?
I haven't really checked into this. I will have to check around when we
return from our vacation. We leave for Las Vegas in about 6 hours!!
Take care.
Chuck
