Thanks, but I've never seen anyone break  regulator off. I've seen lots 
of gauges smashed, but never seen anyone sheer the whole regulator off. 
In addition to EMS, I used to work in auto salvage, and we handled our M 
tanks of oxygen much more roughly than anything I've seen in EMS. Even 
there, I've never seen a regulator sheer off. I've been doing this for a 
fair amount of time, more than 20 years including my volunteer time when 
I was a yout', so it can't be that common an experience.
