There are other CDNs besides Amazon. Some would probably welcome an
opportunity to serve companies fleeing Amazon.

But I think a modest social network can get by without even using a CDN. A
dedicated server for a bunch of people to rant about politics should be able
to do the job.

But for Amazon, Google, and Apple to banish them from their app stores is
hitting below the belt.
