>> I do use Italian sweet red peppers when I can find them
> They sure are superior in flavour, albeit more expensive
JK> I hadn't noticed a difference in price, but I can believe the red
JK> peppers are more.
What I meant was that Italian sweets are more expensive than bells
here regardless of colour. And yes both kinds of yellow and red
peppers are more expensive than their green counterparts.
JW> Our summer has been cloudy and cool with lots of showers

JK> It's so sad when that happens,
There is an upside: fewer and smaller forest fires and higher water
tables which benefits water transportation (we had barges grounding
on sandbars resulting in delayed and missing shipments) and hydro
generation (which is cheaper than oil fired generators).
