KS> Besides, why the hell do people prefere dual- boot in

JT> But everyone has their own poison, I suppose.
Different requirements, that's why. With Dual boot you can
see and use the EXACT SAME partition with either OS/2 or
DOS. With Boot manager you cannot see or use the OS/2
partition while in DOS and/or the DOS partition while in
OS/2. Simple enough reason that some (maybe even many)
would prefer Dual boot to Boot manager. Different strokes.
If you're short on disk space you might even NEED to have
that 200-500Mb partition visible to both DOS and OS/2 like
it would be using Dual Boot.
I'm glad we have a choice. I ran Dual Boot for years and
was much happier with it than I would have been with Boot
manager due to my requirements. My requirements have now
changed and I now run Boot manager. Choice is a good
thing. I wish there weren't so many messages blindly
advising newbies to use Boot manager without even
attempting to properly evaluate the newcomers needs first.
The person's requirements should dictate what booting
system is used, not someone's OS religious beliefs :-).
