I thought that i had the latest, but didn't.  However, that didn't help.

Yes, though it appears to me that that this choice just shows different
data from the same place.

I'm now thinking that this is somehow related to usbmon.  In the startup,
it's not hatched.  If I use the one in C:\os2\boot, rather than C:\os2, it
stays hatched.  This may not be it, because it seems to show anyway when
not hatched in the Pillarsoft status center.
