I see you have been told about the sound bug. For the joystick there is a
driver but I don't know if it is shipped with with Warp 4; it was an
add on for Warp 3. I have had it a long time from when IBM thought they
wanted to support game developers and a home market. I only have it on
one system. Are similar lines in your config.sys ?
DEVICE=F:\MMOS2\GAMEDD.SYS
DEVICE=F:\MMOS2\GAMEVDD.SYS
This is the joystick driver.
You would see one or more messages like this at boot time

Actually I think Robert J. Manley did them and IBM distributed them under
some arrangement, before they backed away from the game area. Some version
of them should at least be on the net somewhere as shareware. It was a
short period from the shareware beta until they showed up from IBM. I
believe that XWing was one of the specific games that it took care of.
