I'm referring to "boot from CD" Linux, such as MiniKnoppix or Slax. Both are downloadable as ISOs that fit on the 3.5" CDs. Make great utility disks to carry in one's shirt pocket. Do you remember the 386SX-16 I had online - with 8MB ram and a 100Mb harddrive? It ran Linux OK, but I'd rather have something with a bit more horse power to do any real computing on. This machine has 1Gb of RAM and an 80Gb harddrive (but no floppy), it hoses all over that 386.... -- regards David ---* Origin: Bugger!
