Hi Nancy,
RH> Yes, we loaded the peaches picked up in Pa into it to keep them from

NB> Kept them cool, but couldn't totally protect against bruising, I'd
NB> guess... :)
Not quite, given how ripe they were.
NB> RH>> Yes--we had very few left overs this year as compared to last.
NB> May RH>> tweak the list more if we go next year to reduce them even
NB> more.
NB> NB>> Sounds like you are getting the knack of it, for sure... :)
RH> Helps to have shopped for Life Group cooking and a good many more

RH> in under budget for the food.
NB> I'm not at all surprised... :) Lots of experience on many levels of
NB> food shopping, both bulk and not.... and of knowing how much to get
NB> and whether something is a bargain or not... :)
The store brand (Hanniford's) is of a decent quality; we had no qualms
about buying a lot of that. Some things we had to get name brands but
tried to keep that to a minimum. We went with a better grade of ground
beef to avoid a lot of waste from fat--all in all, shopping the way we
did was much better than the way we did it last year.
NB> RH>> My first cards were done by a friend in exchange for proof
NB> reading RH>> her husband's master's degree papers.
NB> NB>> Nice exchange... :) I never needed any more cards... probably
NB> NB>> still have some tucked away somewhere......
RH> I've needed new ones every time we've moved. (G)
NB> As long as the phone number didn't change, you might have been able to
NB> keep using the old.... ;) But if you put your address on there
NB> too... yeah, that changes...... ;)
We had just a land line when I got my first couple of sets of cards.
Once I got a cell phone, that number went on instead (and has changed
several times). I've always put my address on them so yes, that has made
for a change in cards several times. I've only done a major change in
design once tho, in close to 20 years.
RH> Give me needle, thread and fabric & I'm happy. I'm beginning to
RH> think of what to do for my next QoV project, even tho I'm only
RH> about 5/8 done with the current one.
NB> A good match for you, obviously.... :)
Yes, very much so. (G)
