Hmm, never said how large the beastie is or how much he feeds it.  I bet 
it's a pound a time for a baby 3" oscar :)

But to answer his question, about an automatic feeder, that'd be nice I'm 
looking to build one for my fish room too, and would like to see some 
existing ideas before I try to reinvent the wheel.
