RH>> It wasn't needed until the last day, after cleaning out the big and
RH>> small fridges. The team put their sandwiches in it until after VBS,
RH>> then took them to eat on the way south. We're now using the cooler
RH>> as a fridge suppliment.
NB>> Both work well... :)
RH> Yes, we loaded the peaches picked up in Pa into it to keep them from
RH> going bad. They were quite ripe, had to trim the bad spot here & there
RH> while putting them up but not too much lost, thankfully.
Kept them cool, but couldn't totally protect against bruising, I'd
guess... :)
RH>> Yes--we had very few left overs this year as compared to last. May
RH>> tweak the list more if we go next year to reduce them even more.
NB>> Sounds like you are getting the knack of it, for sure... :)
RH> Helps to have shopped for Life Group cooking and a good many more
RH> years of family shopping than any of the other team members. We came
RH> in under budget for the food.
I'm not at all surprised... :) Lots of experience on many levels of
food shopping, both bulk and not.... and of knowing how much to get and
whether something is a bargain or not... :)
RH>> My first cards were done by a friend in exchange for proof reading
RH>> her husband's master's degree papers.
NB>> Nice exchange... :) I never needed any more cards... probably
NB>> still have some tucked away somewhere......
RH> I've needed new ones every time we've moved. (G)
As long as the phone number didn't change, you might have been able to
keep using the old.... ;) But if you put your address on there too...
yeah, that changes...... ;)
RH> Give me needle, thread and fabric & I'm happy. I'm beginning to
RH> think of what to do for my next QoV project, even tho I'm only
RH> about 5/8 done with the current one.
A good match for you, obviously.... :)
