  Don't treat it as if it was a major event.  Borland has simply finally
  come out and said what we in the echo have known for over two years.
  They don't support their OS/2 C++ compiler.  Nothing new there.  They
  haven't supported it in any real sense (i.e. fixing bugs, or even having
  tech support who know anything about the product) since 1993.  They
  simply haven't admitted to it before.

  I've been saying as much (albeit in a slightly more restrained fashion)
  in the CONs section of the Pros and Cons entry for Borland C++ for OS/2
  for about that long (check the very last sentence).
