Hi Nancy,
NB> NB>>> Gives you plenty of flexibility... :)
NB> RH>> Much more so than the team has had in previous years.
RH> It wasn't needed until the last day, after cleaning out the big and
RH> small fridges. The team put their sandwiches in it until after VBS,
RH> then took them to eat on the way south. We're now using the cooler
RH> as a fridge suppliment.
NB> Both work well... :)
Yes, we loaded the peaches picked up in Pa into it to keep them from
going bad. They were quite ripe, had to trim the bad spot here & there
while putting them up but not too much lost, thankfully. The cooler is
now put up until we need it again.
NB> NB>> Making you guys a helpful adjunct to the team in more ways than
NB> just NB>> the cooking and planning... ;)
RH> Yes--we had very few left overs this year as compared to last. May
RH> tweak the list more if we go next year to reduce them even more.
NB> Sounds like you are getting the knack of it, for sure... :)
Helps to have shopped for Life Group cooking and a good many more years
of family shopping than any of the other team members. We came in under
budget for the food.
NB> RH>> Most of my sewing business has been word of mouth. The cards are
NB> RH>> useful for other times I need to give out information, as well
NB> as a RH>> reminder with people that have mentioned wanting sewing
NB> done. A "who RH>> was that person I was talking with?" kind of thing.
NB> NB>> When my son was in high school, one shop class project was
NB> printing NB>> business cards, so he printed up some rudimentary ones
NB> for me... I NB>> think I used them mostly to verify that I was a
NB> piano teacher and NB>> therefore entitled to a discount on music at
NB> the music store... ;)
RH> My first cards were done by a friend in exchange for proof reading her
RH> husband's master's degree papers.
NB> Nice exchange... :) I never needed any more cards... probably still
NB> have some tucked away somewhere......
I've needed new ones every time we've moved. (G)
NB> RH>>> I wouldn't want to be a professional cook/chef, even tho
NB> cooking RH>>> can be fun. There are enough other issues involved with
NB> doing it RH>>> professionally that I wouldn't want to deal with.
NB> NB>>> Sometimes it just isn't feasible... :)
NB> RH>> No, I'd need help lifting heavy pots, couldn't do all the
NB> cutting RH>> up or other heavy lifting, etc so good thing I didn't
NB> make it a
NB> RH>> career choice.
NB> NB>> Like me and nursing... ;)
RH> We've gone with what works best for us, in all ways.
NB> Pretty much... ;)
Give me needle, thread and fabric & I'm happy. I'm beginning to think of
what to do for my next QoV project, even tho I'm only about 5/8 done
with the current one.

Catch you later,
