First off, had Laura Bush had done something like that, you would have been
all over it like maggots to a corpse, you would have launched into a spit
spewing rage followed up by convulsions on the floor with foam coming out
of your mouth.

She (Michelle) was on what amounts to be a photo op, she was in front of
needy destitute people, wearing a pair of shoes that cost more than what
the government sends **YOU** a month.

No one faults her for wearing or wanting expensive shoes, the Obamas
certainly made enough money last year to afford such things, heck becoming
President, the household took a paycut.

It sends the wrong signal because of the event..

For the amount of time she was at that event, a $25 pair of Walmart
specials would have been more appropriate.
