Say, that's probably why they are *really* going after Bill Gates.
They don't care if he can control the internet software market--they
just want to know how they can get in on the action. Owlgore is
probably going to cut a deal with him to make Windows 98 only run
with the "D" chip in place! Yikes!
JS> Seriously Janada, although I've seen some rather stupid things

You wouldn't think so would you? Then again, I thought the "Smoke a
joint, Lose a Limb" idea was a joke, but evidently that was serious.
(Mississippi, a bill dubbed "Smoke a Joint, Lose a Limb" would punish
marijuana smokers by amputating an arm or a leg. The legislation,
submitted in January by Republican State Representative Bobby Moak,
provides that the convicted person and the court "must agree on
which body part shall be removed.")
Er, what about pedophiles, rapists, and other sexual perverts? Does
that mean a little guillotine will be set up for them? Oh, right,
Washington does protect it's own, doesn't it? I guess that would wipe
out just about all the liberals in DC...maybe even YouKnowWho. (G)
JS> If I'm wrong then we're in heap big trouble ( a little Indian
JS> lingo there ) if someone actually wrote a bill like that.
You so right, Kimosabe! That anyone would even *think* of it is
scary, but then, Owlgore has sure been keen on controlling *both*
sort of highways for a long time. Even if it's a joke, and it's just
*got* to be...I'm sure Owlgore would sure love it *if* it could be
done. Might even tack something in there about drinking AND smoking
cigarettes at the same time to make it an even bigger offense. And
then, if you have *kids* around...hey, and maybe a gun in the house!
They'd soon be hacking off limbs left and--...well, left!
... Any law that has more than 50 words contains at least one loophole.
