Exactly.

 I don't know exactly how Hey Jude was written.  Was it a song that
came to Paul in bits and pieces?  Perhaps the truth lies somewhere in
between.  For example, maybe the phrase "Hey Jules, don't make it bad"
did pop into Paul's head when he went to visit Julian along with some
melody.  But I believe that most of the song is about Paul and Fran or
perhaps it could be Paul and Fran and John and Yoko as John believed.
