The claim was that MSN transmits this data without your permission. Clearly
it is not even possible to _connect_ to MSN without your modem connected,
so the above is not any proof at all.

The problem is not that it's sent, it's that permission is NOT asked. Or if
it is, your response is ignored. Or so it would seem. You have not been
able to prove otherwise, and it would certainly be within Microsoft's
typical ethical boundaries.
