subject: Pascal in os/2

There are several PASCALs for OS/2. Borland, fortunately, does not
  make any of them.

  The German magazine 'ct - magazine fuer computertechnik' produced a
  patch for Borland Pascal 7.0 for DOS that would convert it to produce
  16-bit OS/2 programs. The patch (CT9311_1.ZIP), and all of the
  subsequent updates and fixes, should be widely available by now. They
  are available direct from c't Mailbox in Havover (+49 511 535 2301),
  on most FIDONET files sites, or from the GERNET forum on CompuServe.
  Only go this route if you already have Borland Pascal. For a 16-bit
  non-standard language it isn't worth it otherwise.

  There are 3 other freely available pascal tools for OS/2:

    * p2c - standard pascal to c translator (requires emx/gcc or GCC/2)
    * pasos2 - 32-bit pascal (requires MASM 6.0 or TASM)
    * Power Pascal/2 - 32-bit pascal (requires MASM)

  Speed PASCAL/2 is a 32-bit PASCAL compiler for OS/2, that claims
  Borland Delphi compatibility :

  There is Prospero 32-bit Extended (ANSI/ISO) PASCAL for OS/2 :

    United Kingdom

    ( John Howard of FIDONET 1:280.5.0 has used Prospero Extended PASCAL
      for OS/2. Netmail him for more information. )

  Then there is Microway 32-bit NDP PASCAL for OS/2 :

    Microway Inc.
    P.O. Box 79
    Kingston, MA 02364 USA

    Telephone +1 508 746 7341
    Fax       +1 508 746 4678.

  There is Cabot Software 32-bit UCSD PASCAL (and Modula-2) for OS/2,
  which uses p-code :

    Cabot  Software,
    The  Vicarage,
    Stoke  View  Road,
    Fishponds,
    Bristol  BS16  3AE,
    United Kingdom

  And, finally, there is 32-bit Virtual Pascal for OS/2.
