Hello Martin !
JP> When I had a similar problem, I placed the guilty HD as D:\ on
JP> my system and then had full access to it.
I forget exactly where, IDE 0 or 1, it was connected but I am
sure that I had it as a slave. That day, my problem was that the
drive was in NTFS and I had to FDISK-Remove this non-DOS partition
before I could "see" it at all.
MA> I don't know what to make of this. Linux is only a family of open
MA> source programers. It allows those that are interested in aspects
MA> of computing to become activly involved in development.
Granted. Seeing as at this ripe age, I can not remember how to
do any coding and by what I read, there has to be a lot of CLI to
do, I really prefer a little mouse that I can move and click here
and there, BW is just about all I can digest and I need help too.
MA> It was a genuine typo on on my part. What i meant to say is i am
MA> neither a wiz nor am i wise.
Do not feel alone. I am the worse one, well, after Tom W.
Talking about typoes. He is a bit wiser than I.
I would not be without an OLMR.
