True, I just like to fish.  What fish I do catch, and it's been a long while, I
give to people who can't get their own, or are visitors (often we would put
them on a charter down in Homer, and on the plane headed for home each with a
50lb box of flash frozen Halibut fillets bagged into about 1lb packages).  I
tried to bribe Ian by offering to catch a Red, whack it in the head, and hand
it to him, didn't work.

I gave up hunting.  Shot my deer as a kid down in Texas when we lived there,
and my moose up here*.  Gave half of the moose away, Connie and I ate about
half of our half, gave the rest to the Iditarod for dog food since it was
freezer burned by that time (now days I would have suckie bagged it).  Moose
are fairly large animals, think horse with long legs, so there's a lot of very
lean protein.  Got photos of three I saw this summer, take through the windows.

* Like some of the people here, I was a military brat.  Lived in Oklahoma,
Alaska+, Delaware, Hawaii+, California, Texas, and Colorado.  All by the time I
turned 18.
+ As territories.  I'll add that I've spent a little over a month in Puerto
Rico when I was in the Navy, so there's that threat.
