As does mine if I don't stipulate ttyS0 as the serial port in the KPPP
dialer.
Could you have missed this minor point?

I had to set that parameter in the account I'd setup
as the modem test routine did not.

Prior to setting the COM port to COM 1 ( ttyS0) I got the same no
modem found message.

COM 1 is my serial port.
ttyS1 would be COM port 2, ttyS2 COM 3, ect.
