I dance all night,
a starless night,
in falling snow
and numbing cold.
I dance on seas
iced ten feet deep.
No sound but wind;
no light but snow.
I dance a prayer
for spring, for dawn,
for rising sun,
for melting ice,
for rushing tides,
for greening grass.
