I just wanted to let you all know that I found a most wonderful man and
we were married last week on February 22nd. The wedding took place at my
sister's house and the rooms were filled with roses for the occasion.
The whole affair was delightful but, as with all weddings, a few quirky
things took place. The day before, my aunt and uncle showed up at the
appointed time (having misread the date of the wedding). They laughed
about it and said it was allright because they had another party to go
to anyway....well, it turned out that they'd misread the date for the
other party too...all dressed up and nowhere to go ! Then, on the
morning of the wedding itself, my brother-in-law was putting the final
touches on a curtain rod when he dropped his electric drill. The drill
went straight down into the top of his foot at which point he fell off
the ladder he was standing on. After a visit to the emergency room he
sailed through the day beautifully and was a real stitch when the pain
killers met up with the champagne.
   By marrying, I have become a stepmother of two fine boys with their
wives and a grandmother of 4...my mother instantly became a
great-grandmother ! Joy is abundant here and I'm feeling quite good.
I'll still be using 'Meg Davis' for all music and book related stuff so
stay tuned and thank you all for your friendship and support...it means
a lot to me.
