Mark, congrats on a well written and GREAT point!! I couldn't agree with you
more.. With 11+ years in FD/EMS (mostly EMS) and haven worked both in NR 
states, and non-NR states, I am of the opion that NR by itself does not seem
to make much difference in the training or performance of EMT's.. I have been
NR certified as well as state certified for many years now. And so far the 
only thing I've gained out of NR certification is another license to renew 
every 2 years.............
