subject: nul characters in line of text

From: Hans de Wit
Hello,
a small problem here: I discovered that in version 2.8 it is possible
to have a null character (Alt 000) in the middle of a line of text.
It is a problem because a lot of (statistical) environments stop when
they discover a null character.
In version 2.5 it was not possible to add a null in the middle of a
line. Alt 000 doesn't give you a null, in 2.8 it gives you 00
hexadecimal and place for it.
This is not all of the problem. I don't think my users will use Alt
000 to add a 00 to a textline. How is it possible that they have this
00 in the middle of a line?
Thanks in advance
Hans de Wit
