We fixed the ALT 000 to work properly in 2.8 (it didn't work properly in =
2.5).  Unfortunately in the GUI version (which we're developing) the ALT =
000 no longer works again.  Thanks for the report.  I'll try to fix the =
GUI version so the ALT 000 works like all the other ALT numeric input =
characters. =20
BTW, we allow NULLS in the file because the editor is used for many =
types of applications, some of which use embedded NULLS. =20
If you want to try to avoid this you can assign the following key in =
your .ui file (and burn it in) or autoload a macro with the following =
key assignment.
