Yes - but originally it was buggy. IBM had to fix it. It reached eCS 
1.0 and 1.1 after the fix was done.

It is the ecs maintenance tool that makes fixing andinstalling newer 
drivers in eCS easy - but that is another chapter.

Sure, yes. But you would know how hard it can be to insert a fixpack 
or even a newer driver into OS/2. eCs beginning from 1.0 makes that 
really easy. It is the maintenance tool that looks out for fixes and 
drvers. It is the maintenance tool thzat downloads them when you asks 
it for. It is the maintenance tool that will install them when you 
asks it to do so. Finite with searching through internet to get a 
fixpack, a driver, a single fix. Finite with crawling around how to 
install a fix on a mashine without floppy disk attached - a simple 
mouse ckick and it' done.
