                While the Yankees have displayed exceptional

 -- Current Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox was a coach on the 1977 Yankees
World Series team.

World     Series team (1981; he hit .318, 7-for-22).
 -- The last Yankee pitcher to win a World Series game was Tommy John in

 -- Andy Pettitte is trying to become the first Yankee to win 20 games in
