RH>> Quite so, and will be even more so on the next trip. The place
RH>> where the team stays only has a dorm size fridge (a full size
RH>> one is available where we do the cooking) so last year our cooler
RH>> supplimented the small fridge. Planning on doing likewise this
RH>> year, plus Steve and I will have the camper fridge for our stuff.
NB>> Gives you plenty of flexibility... :)
RH> Much more so than the team has had in previous years.
Making you guys a helpful adjunct to the team in more ways than just the
cooking and planning... ;)
RH>> Seems that's how things work out for most people--you find a niche
RH>> that you enjoy and earn either a living or pocket money in that realm.
NB>> Health care has never been even pocket money for me... only volunteer,
NB>> and rarely even recognition... which is ok.. :) I did end up earning
NB>> pocket money when I was teaching piano... never made a living at it,
NB>> never had a lot of pupils at the same time, but did find some
NB>> enjoyment and did it for quite a while until my last pupil couldn't do
NB>> it anymore... never did much actively looking for pupils, just happened
NB>> that way... :)
RH> Most of my sewing business has been word of mouth. The cards are
RH> useful for other times I need to give out information, as well as a
RH> reminder with people that have mentioned wanting sewing done. A "who
RH> was that person I was talking with?" kind of thing.
When my son was in high school, one shop class project was printing
business cards, so he printed up some rudimentary ones for me... I think
I used them mostly to verify that I was a piano teacher and therefore
entitled to a discount on music at the music store... ;)
RH>> I wouldn't want to be a professional cook/chef, even tho cooking
RH>> can be fun. There are enough other issues involved with doing it
RH>> professionally that I wouldn't want to deal with.
NB>> Sometimes it just isn't feasible... :)
RH> No, I'd need help lifting heavy pots, couldn't do all the cutting
RH> up or other heavy lifting, etc so good thing I didn't make it a
RH> career choice.
Like me and nursing... ;)
... I'm of the faction that believes mushroom sandwiches are not burgers
