 I avoided them for a long time also. BUT some years ago I aquired a
 Scanner with both Parallel and USB ports. I gave it a try with my
 Win98Se machine and it installed flawlessly.
Adn while I have a few problems the installs under Win98Se of me
External Hard Drive and USB flash drives weren't al lthat bad. BUY of
course I have no interest in using them to Image/Ghost to. I have more
then one drive in all of my Desktop Computers and do a rare backup to
them.
Of ccourwe those less hardheaded than me using WinXP or even WinME get
along just great with USB devices, Except for Imaging/ghost operations.
