RJT>Yeah, that works for me. I'm not even sure if any of the USB hardware I h RJT>on any of these boxes actually words, and haven't tried setting up the RJT>software yet, as I have *no* USB peripherals of any sort yet. In spite of RJT>them selling darn near nothing but in terms of printers and scanners and su RJT>these days. I avoided them for a long time also. BUT some years ago I aquired a Scanner with both Parallel and USB ports. I gave it a try with my Win98Se machine and it installed flawlessly. Adn while I have a few problems the installs under Win98Se of me External Hard Drive and USB flash drives weren't al lthat bad. BUY of course I have no interest in using them to Image/Ghost to. I have more then one drive in all of my Desktop Computers and do a rare backup to them. Of ccourwe those less hardheaded than me using WinXP or even WinME get along just great with USB devices, Except for Imaging/ghost operations. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ This note from El Cajon California USA* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
