IIRC

In the late 1970's, early 1980's a Missionary stationed in South America
spoke at my Church and I remember Him talking about some Nut that is
grown down there, said the Hull can't be eaten because it was Poison.

I "think" He said it was the Cashew Nut.
It's been a long time but that's what is stuck in "Ed's Head" (TM).
