Would it help if you brought some of the roses and violets in and put
them in books to dry.  At least that way you would be weeding to
craft.  Don't you have any teenagers or anyone else around there who
need work and who are willing to work?  If you were closer I would
share the lady who does my weeding, windows, etc so that I have more
time to play with my glass and beads.
