Yeah. Has this printer ever worked on another computer with OS/2? Do
you have OS/2 drivers for this printer? Do you see your lexmark listed
in the hardware list at os2warp.be? I have friends running windows that
cannot get lexmark printers to work. My suggestion is to get a Canon,
HP, or Epson printer that actually works with OS/2 and drop that
Lexmark on some win user (preferably not a friend) and let them do
battle with it.

An all USB box? Cool, what is it? Does everything
(sound,video,modem,etc) in the box work with OS/2?

My sister-in-law has a gateway Astro ( I have another name for it I
won't use here). A one piece monitor/motherboard unit with one "in"
phone jack for modem, and 4 usb ports. Comes with a USB keyboard that
the USB mouse can plug into also, leaving 3 ports available for
expansion. No card slots and one sdram socket. A 3.5 floppy and cdrom
in front, and a drawer in rear for one hard drive, makes it easy to
replace which was a good thing since it came with a quantum fireball
that didn't last long. It's intel celeron and would be fun to try OS/2
on it, but it's not my computer. She has an 812C HP printer (not my
preference but still a real good one).
