Methane, as a motor fuel is quite dry so if you are using an all alloy modern
motor you will probably need to get the valves and valve seats stellite
welded.
If you are using an older style cast block /alloy head motor then the
occasional feed of super (lead added) fuel should keep the valves in good
order.
I think Molloys sell an addative that is vacuum injected into the mannafold
that is a lead substitute for these older style motors but doesn't seem as
effective with the newer all alloy motors.
Our local sewerage farm uses methane produced in the "farm" to run all motors
and produce some of the light power for the plant.
Also a local dump uses the methane it produces in a similar manner.
