You're absolutely right, which is one reason why I don't mind
an occasional discussion thread weaving off the beaten path.
Me being heavy-handed accomplishes little. Fidonet is a
hobby -- it's supposed to be *fun*. Of course, waaayyy off-
topic stuff (chain letters, sex ads, personal flame-wars, et al)
ruin the echo for everyone. Let common sense prevail. And have
*fun*.
(It's unlikely AUDIO would drop off the backbone due to
traffic; the North American Backbone only requires
five messages per month.)
