At that, there seems to be a real need to upgrade. /-: I *am* rather surprised to count the number of HDs that are dead weight around here. )-: Sans the RLL/MFM drives, I only had one warranty IDE, and one old SCSI drive reach the junk bin for the longest time. That number just doubled. I have a lot of cast-off equipment here, but not that many drives, which ups the percentage of failures by quite a bit. What are ya gonna do? ...
