That says absolutely nothing about whether they have an MBR. Only if
they boot your main machine as only in any machine is there any
significance to that result. Is your method of installing an MBR on your
new disks something you wish to keep secret?

"Press any key to reboot" is the precise response expected from a disk
with no MBR code and a BIOS with no ROM BASIC.
