subject: Adhesives for Testing

MR>There's a type of mold-on stuff that is often seen in air-conditioning
MR>and ventilation stuff. It can be molded yet it comes off relatively
MR>easily. I don't know what it is called exactly. Someone referred to it
MR>as "Elephant Shit"... old-timers will know it by that name
apparently.
MR>The stuff I've seen is grey/white but has a similar viscous character
MR>to that creditcard adhesive you described.

In thwe Navy I know it as "Monkey Shit"
But it is NOT a Heat conductor and is really asking for Trouble, a
Destroyed CPU, if one does and Burn in Tests for comparision of various
heat sinks.
