subject: Back to Help again :(

Jonathan,

We have discussed previously loading Help from an OWL application and the
problems with BC/OS2. You sent some information and I said I'd get back to
you. I'm getting back to you :)

Finally got around to working on the program I was trying to load the help
from. Haven't been able to do it. I tried initializing the help after creating
the MainWindow in the function InitMainWindow(). I also tried moving
the code to the window itself, initializing it in the SetupWindow()
function. No Go. Checking with WinGetLastError() after the
WinCreateHelpInstance() returned different errors depending on whether I
used Thab::GetHAB() in the call or WinQueryAnchorBlock(HWND), and where I
tried initializing the help.

the two errors that I received where:
0x1017 (PMERR_ATOM_NAME_NOT_FOUND)
0x1001 (HMERR_FRAME_WND_NOT_IN_CHAIN)

The MainWindow *IS* a TFrameWindow...

So far, the only thing I've been able to do is use the spawn*() functions to
execute VIEW.EXE and pass the INF file that I also compiled at the same time
as the HLP file, to it as a parameter :(

Any ideas?

BTW< I noticed that NONE of the OWL examples included HLP, though a couple of
the other examples did...
