Interactive Net Server v7.0.454.5 Lines: 36 Hi David, Thanks for the info. Now I just have to find out why when I log onto Santronics thru WCNAV, I go to d/l the new message client and it d/l's okay but says it can't be extracted or some similiar thing. The other clients installed okay. -> GM-> Hi Hector! -> GM-> I just downloaded and installed the Navigator for Windows 95/98. -> GM-> My system is a Compaq Presario, 196 megs ram, and an internet connection -> GM-> across my lan to a cable modem. -> GM-> I entered your site address www.santronics.com into the connection -> GM-> manager and used winsock for the connection. I put in my user name and -> GM-> password. When I tried to log onto your system, I got "CONNECTION -> GM-> REFUSED". I believe I set it all up right. Any ideas. -> GM-> I then logged in with IE5 and came into the support site. I went to get -> GM-> into the message client, it said there was a new update. It downloaded -> GM-> okay, but on the unzip it gave me an error of 9. I updated the other -> GM-> clients with no problems. Any ideas? -> Yes, I encounter this as well. Try using 208.247.131.11 instead of -> www.Santronics.com or www.winserver.com as this works for me. -> Fortunately, if you click on the LOGIN button of most wildcat systems, -> you can force that system to be entered into the wcNAV list. -> It appears to be a DNS lookup problem but I haven't spent any time -> looking into it. -> David Arcand = http://www.necs.net -> --- -> þ QMPro 1.53 þ Vini, Vidi, Visa- I came, I saw, I ran out of cash. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.1* Origin: Prison Board BBS Mesquite Tx //telnet.RDFIG.NET www.
