I know who you mean.  This has been the subject of discussion here at
rmb many times.  I think she is accurate although many disbelieve
her.  Most people believe Paul's PR.

A couple of years back I heard (not read but actually heard) a part of
the famous John Lennon Playboy interview where he said point blank
that Hey Jude concerned, among other things,  Paul and Fran.  When one
reads the Playboy interview, that sentence or two is missing and
replaced by ".........."

I agree with your point also that once one learns about the meaning
behind the song, it seems different.
