No problem....scratching is, very simple....I'd like to do that with all 
dance records because it will make them unplayable in the end  ;)
....But don't expect me to use my own stylus...I'd like to get a good sharp 
stainless-steel needle for this one....RAAAAHHHH... ;)

Ok...if you're really get down to this one....
I know a lot of REAL dj's...I WORK a lot with them...Let's not discuss the 
(lack of) musical taste of dj's (boom,boom,boom,boom,boom,....is there any 
polyrithmic beat in dance? Nope..Jungle/Drum 'n Bass maybe)  :)
They have the "feeling" to play records that the audience likes to hear and 
their professionalism and fame has nothing to do with "how good they can 
scratch" or "how good they can backspin" but anything with "do they play the 
records that the audience would like to hear ?".
So their musical taste is not the topic....this has more to do with 
psychology: "What is the taste of the audience ?"......and to be honest: The 
taste of the audience makes me often puke...oh, well...I may hang around in 
wrong places ;)

I've had classical training on a Church Organ......Wait until you get into 
percussion and drums...then it all evolves much faster....
