JK> I doubt there was anything that was critical over here ... my second
JK> oldest sister would often have some kind of "emergency" ("I Have to
JK> take this phone call !!!" (grin)).. so I would just finish up.. I
JK> thought it was funny and very obvious :)
I'd probably have gone, sat down and read a book until the "emergency"
was over and then get us both back to work on the dishes... ;)
JK> That didn't last for long after my oldest sister left for college at
JK> St. John's. Carol, my second oldest sis eventually took off for parts
JK> unknown with her boyfriend, later to surface somewhere down south
JK> where her then-husband's family was from She had some funny
JK> stories to tell me when we all finally caught up with her..
Adventures... (G)
JK> One of her older relatives on her
JK> husband's side of the family taught her (amidst protests) how to
JK> wrangle a live chicken's neck.. glad I wasn't there :) But I think it
JK> so shocked her that she had to uh... instruct me on the method Lol
One must pass on the lessons learned... ;)

JK> But if you talk to her, she is full of life and doesn't want to "go".
JK> It's worrisome to me.. but then again she's a tough kid. So maybe she
JK> knows her body better than the docs and the tests. Geez, I see that
JK> kind of stuff with me often enough... :)
It might be partly putting a good face on things... But, true, it's
quite possible that she has been learning her body and does have a clue
what's best for her... one can hope.... :)

JK> No, it's not a "same name kind of thing".. check out this page.. two
JK> locations.. Ithaca and Milwaukee IIRC
JK> http://www.maxies.com/
JK> Ok, maybe not a "chain" with only two locations.. but still... :)
Are the proprietors related...? Or is it a chain in the making.... But
at this point it doesn't sound like a chain, especially with only two
locations, even if not close by... :)
