JH> What dead bodies are you talking about????? You all keep
JH> talking about dead bodies and the current count being around
JH> 50. Would you please explain what this refers to? Sorry to be
JH> such a newbie.
JO> I have a list of 40 people who have been real close to Bill Clinton
snip
JO> The strangest "suicides" I find are the two *right-handed* women who
JO> are supposed to have shot themselves in the left side of the head.
...
JO> Say, I've always heard that pregnant women rarely kill themselves as
JO> it is, and the farther along the rarer it happens, due to hormones.
JO> I've even heard of women saying they get a sort of natural high being
JO> pregnant (after the morning sickness is over, of course). That
JO> would also make sense of the "withdrawal" of post partum depression.
JO> Maybe you could give me some insight on that since you have some
JO> experience in the area. It does make sense that God would include
JO> something like that along with the survival instinct. I will never
JO> believe that a woman went all through worst of a pregnancy, to be
JO> close enough that the baby could even live on its own, and suddenly
JO> decide to blow her brains out...even as bad as the thought of having
JO> a baby Bill would be! What do you think?
I'll be honest, I think that the women who get a natural High from being
pregnant are rare and completely goofy. Pregnancy is a very draining
experience from the weight of the child as well as the excitement of bearing
young. Hormones are not nearly as helpful as some naturalists would have us
believe (these are undoubtably the same ones who say that natural childbirth
is painless.Yeah, right!). My first seven pregnancies were okay except for
various problems ranging from morning sickness (not _just_ a first trimester
problem) to low blood sugar problems. My last pregnancy resulted in _severe_
depression among other things. And half of the deliveries had problems.
Post-partum depression is more the result of a new mom being left on her
own to take care of both child and house without anyone to help. Complete
exhaustion results, after all, baby has to be fed every two to three hours
for the first two weeks of life. I let the house fall to ruin, personnally.
Just ask my mother-in-law.
But what you've hypothesized about a woman carrying a baby for 7 months and
then committing suicide...it's very improbable but it could happen. After
all, PBA's occur in the third trimester and regardless of what we'd like to
believe, _women_ are the ones asking for it.
JO> If enough people still haven't seen the list I can repost it easily
JO> since it's still in sections for posting. Otherwise, if you don't
JO> have an e-mail address to receive it, I could probably get it to you
JO> through a local bbs. Where are you, anyway? Arlington, Ft Worth? I'm
JO> in Duncanville. :)
I'm in Cleburne but the bbs I use for email is in Burleson.

It'd be nice to have that list especially the one of the supposed 200.
