What I saw today is perhaps the reason why I HATE such acts of tyranny. If
you have read any decent history book, what happened this morning is
literally right out of the Gestapo or the Stalinist NKVD handbook, to say
the least. You do remember heavily armed secret police knocking down
residences and grabbing people in a violent fashion, right? The pictures
from the scene was literally right out of the infamous "Night of Long
Knives" in 1934, when Hitler ordered the brutal surpression of the SA
faction of the Nazi Party.

My guess is that the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals may on Monday morning
immediately issue a contempt of court citation against Janet Reno and could
even have her indicted on contempt of court charges--in this case a Federal
felony. They may order Elian to be turned over to an impartial third party
immediately, too.
