That's _impossible_ with "homework"...the teacher isn't at the kid's home
to tutor kids needing help.
Emphasis on homework, rather than on in-class tutoring of the kind you
did, makes success in math impossible for many kids. (Particularly for the
kid who comes to the course with a weak background from not learning prior
course material in earlier years.)
