Hello,
RP> RIGHT ! Who really knows when the mailman (uhhh...."mailperson") is
Here in Australia it is usually 'Postie' I've only ever seen a femail
postie once. Of cause Postman is actually less sexist that Postperson
anyway.
RP> Besides, here I've had mail delivered early mornings, mid-mornings,
RP> early afternoon, mid-afternoons and early evenings. It's a real
RP> laugh
Where I used to live we hade the same problem. Here we get it at 6:50am
on the dot except for the occational day when it may be up to 1 hour
later.
RP> "Super Boxes" to fetch my mail: it's still hand-delivered to my
RP> door.
I don't think that there has ever been anything like that in Aus. We
used to have the garbos come into the yard to get the bin. But that
changed when they brought in the weelie bins.
