| subject: | Re: PDFs, GhostScript, ePDF |
Thanks to everybody for contributing to this discussion. In my experience, GSview/2 and GhostScript 8.14 created files acceptable to Acrobat 6 on Windows; but the old pmpdf conversion tool created .pdfs which Acrobat 6 could NOT read. Acrobat 6 reads .pdfs created by me with GS/GV three years ago. I just installed the current ePDF from http://www.subsys.de/ePDF/ and still using the old postscript driver, this creates good files. I still print from Acrobat 3 on OS/2. Versions 4 and 5 present files just fine, but don't print well at all. On the advice of message posted here, I will try them later with new printer objects, maybe new driver installs; but maybe not before January ;-} Thanks, --Maynard ------------------------ Yahoo!
